2 June 2014: AGENT OF THE STATE - TV OPTION DEAL
It's official! William Brookfield (United Agents) is writing the treatment for the TV series of 'Agent of the State,' which is being developed by 'The Producers London.'
Bill is the screenwriter for 'Kidnapping Freddy Heineken' starring Anthony Hopkins, recently screened at Cannes and due for release later this year.

'The Spying Game' was a packed event on Saturday evening, with questions ranging from the ethics of spying to the tragedies of Syria and Ukraine.

Had a very enjoyable and productive meeting at BAFTA with the screenwriter who has been appointed to write a treatment for a TV series of 'Agent of the State'. Another big step along the way to seeing John Kerr and the team on TV.

It has been gratifying to read so many great reviews of 'The Extremist'. The general feedback is that this book feeds nicely from 'Agent of the State' and readers are loving the characters and dynamic of Kerr's team.

A very exciting day: I visited Sheil Land to sign an option agreement with an established and well-liked UK production company. The proposal is to make a television series of each book. Details will be announced soon.

14 April 2013: AGENT OF THE STATE PUBLISHED IN DUTCH
‘Agent of the State’ published in the Dutch language in paperback by ‘Luitingh-Sijthoff BV’ under the title ‘Explosief.’ Marga de Boer of LS Amsterdam described it as "the best tough thriller debut of 2012." This version has a very dashing John Kerr on the cover!
